Terms and Conditions

Firehouse Scoopers LLC – Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 2025

Thank you for choosing Firehouse Scoopers LLC. We proudly serve Florida pet owners with reliable pet waste removal services. By scheduling service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Payments

All payments are handled through our secure online client portal.

  • Through the portal, you can view invoices, track completed cleanups, and save your preferred payment method.
  • A valid debit or credit card must be kept on file at all times to remain on the service schedule. Invoices are automatically processed using your saved card, and receipts are sent to your email.
  • Payment information must be on file before your first scheduled visit. If your card is not active or payment cannot be processed, we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot reach you, service may be rescheduled to the next available date.

Non-Payment Policy

If a scheduled payment cannot be processed due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or another payment issue, your service will be placed on hold until payment is resolved.

  • We will notify you by email and/or text if a payment issue occurs. Services missed due to non-payment will not be credited or refunded.
  • If payment is not received within 7 days, your account may be suspended, and you may be removed from the service route.
  • Outstanding balances must be paid before service can resume.

Billing Cycle

  • Recurring services are billed on the 1st of every month before service is performed.
  • One-time cleanups and first-time cleanups must be paid on the day of service or before service is performed.
  • If you start service mid-month, you will be charged for the initial cleanup plus the remaining scheduled service for that month.
  • Monthly charges are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-month, service will continue through the end of the billing period already paid.

Refund Policy

All services are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except in cases of company error.

  • Refunds may be issued if you were billed incorrectly or if service was not completed due to an error by Firehouse Scoopers LLC.
  • Refunds will not be issued for missed services caused by inaccessible yards, locked gates, aggressive pets, unsafe conditions, inclement weather, or other conditions outside of our control.
  • Any approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method on file.

Service Times & Arrival

  • Services are performed between 7:00 AM and dusk.
  • You will receive a text message before arrival, generally 30–60 minutes in advance.
  • Your cleanup day will remain consistent unless we notify you of a schedule change.
  • Exact arrival times are not guaranteed.

Do I Need to Be Home?

No, you do not need to be present for service. Please make sure gates are accessible and unlocked.

  • We can work with pets in the yard as long as they are friendly and it is safe for our technician to enter.
  • If a pet prevents our technician from completing service, the visit will still be billed.
  • After each cleanup, we will send a confirmation text or email with a photo of your closed gate, so you know the job was completed.

Dogs in the Yard

If your dog is outside when we arrive, our technician may knock on the door. If there’s no response, we will attempt to work around your pet if it is safe to do so. If your dog is aggressive or prevents cleanup from being completed safely, the visit will still be billed.

Holidays

If your scheduled service falls on a major holiday, cleanup will be skipped for that week and a larger cleanup will be completed the following week. Regular billing still applies since additional waste will need to be removed.

Inclement Weather

If severe weather, such as heavy rain, lightning, flooding, hurricanes, or other hazardous conditions, prevents service, we will try to schedule a make-up visit as soon as possible. If a make-up cannot be arranged, service will continue on your next regularly scheduled day.

  • Regular billing still applies since waste will continue to accumulate and will need to be removed at the next visit.
  • Light rain or drizzle does not automatically cancel service unless conditions become unsafe.
  • Extended severe weather events, such as hurricanes or flooding, may cause temporary suspension of service until conditions are safe. We will notify you when service resumes.

Lawn Conditions

For safety and quality, your yard must be reasonably maintained.

  • Excessively tall grass, heavy leaves, clutter, debris, or unsafe conditions may prevent a thorough cleanup.
  • If yard conditions prevent full service, the visit will still be billed.
  • If ongoing yard conditions make cleaning impractical or unsafe, service may be paused or discontinued at our discretion.

What Areas Do You Clean?

Our standard service includes:

  • Backyard
  • Side yards that are part of the gated backyard
  • Kennels, flower beds, and rock areas, when accessible

You can also request add-on services:

  • Deodorizer (Yard Odor Destroyer)
  • Deodorizer and Sanitizer (WysiWash)

Additional charges apply for these add-on services.

Areas We Do Not Service

For safety reasons, we do not service:

  • Under trampolines or large play equipment
  • Inside or underneath dense bushes, shrubs, or ivy
  • Areas blocked by debris, clutter, or stored items
  • Any other spaces that pose a safety hazard

If waste is located in unsafe or inaccessible areas, it will not be removed, the visit will still be billed, and you will be notified.

Cancellation & Contracts

  • We do not require long-term contracts.
  • You may start, pause, or cancel service anytime by phone, email, or through your customer portal.
  • If you are going out of town or need to pause service, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

Pet Safety

Your pets’ safety is our priority. Our technicians will:

  • Notify you before arrival
  • Always secure gates before leaving, with a photo for confirmation.
  • Disinfect tools and equipment between every cleanup with an organic, kennel-grade disinfectant

Waste Disposal

All waste is securely double-bagged and placed in your household garbage can. If your garbage can is not accessible, the waste will be left neatly by your gate.

Scheduling Requests

You may request a preferred cleanup day when signing up, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

While exact arrival windows are not available, you will always receive a notification before service.

Sanitation Practices

All equipment is disinfected between every visit with an organic, kennel-grade disinfectant to help protect pets, families, and properties.

Liability

By using our services, you agree that Firehouse Scoopers LLC is not liable for:

  • Damage to lawns, landscaping, gates, or property caused by normal service activities
  • Injury or harm to pets, property, or persons if animals are aggressive, loose, or interfere with service
  • Illness or disease transmission resulting from pet waste in your yard, although we disinfect our equipment to help minimize risk

Customers are responsible for providing safe access, including functional gates, safe yard conditions, and removal of hazards. Service may be refused, paused, or terminated at our discretion if unsafe conditions exist.
